Approximately seventy-five students a year receive one-on-one individualized tutoring in reading during the school day at Brown Memorial Church. The program's role is to help students improve their reading and to awaken in them a love of reading and a healthy self-image. It is our belief that a lifetime of literacy begins in the early years. Tutors receive excellent training throughout the year in various methods and techniques, including a multi-sensory approach for dyslexic students.
